So, anyway, I've been thinking.
For one thing, it's cold here, and typing keeps my fingers limber.
Anyway. I've been wanked (or Clairvoyantly-wanked) for BSG and SGA now. What fandom should I try for next?This is a joke, yes.
Me, I'm leaning toward Torchwood or maybe DW. Harry Potter is possibly like blowing up fish in a barrel, but I could manage it. Just. There would be less style. If there were more of a Red Cap fandom, I'd see if I could work something there.
In work news, N is as dumb as a box of rocks. Like, occasionally, I think maybe she gets things. And then. No. So very much no. How hard is it to remember that if a check has the invoice#/account # on it, we don't need to send something with it? EVEN IF IT'S BEEN MARKED TO GO AS AN ATTACHMENT. Gods. The people who edit, who are NOT me? Flonqing suck at editing and, I suspect, don't even bother editing for attachment/standard, not to mention other things.

Some fandoms are slow builds, like BSG was. First I thought my BSG Boyfriend was going to be Helo. Then Chief. Then Helo again. And then, suddenly, there he was... Samuel T. Anders. And off I go hunting for message boards again.
But other times, it's love at first sight, like The 4400. In the case of The 4400, I couldn't find any message boards, so I had to run off and do it practically do it myself.
And did I mention that I spent my day locked in a conference room with a bunch of bickering lawyers and construction people? All of them men who like to curse and then look over to me, the only female in the room and make a big show of apologizing for the curse words for which they are not remotely sorry, but feel that they have to make the show of the apology anyway. :::And then there's the multiple conference calls going on at the same time the consist mostly of yelling::: Sigh. I have a headache. (And I didn't even mention the construction manager and the project manager and how they apparently think competitive farting is a sport.)
