sff: The one where I stopped eating my spaghetti in the middle.
Torchwood 'Meat'. (for the record, I stopped eating because eating took away too much concentration from watching the episode. Not because of the contents of said episode)
I.
The word speechless is applicable here. That was. That was really fucking awesome in ways I can't verbalize well.
Gods.
1. "This is extremely homoerotic" OH HAI FOURTH WALL.
2. Jack's insistence he'd miss Gwen.
3. Rhys vs. Gwen shouting match. That is how you write a fight. Dear god.
4. Gwen's freaking out over Rhys and her threatening to kill him herself if he botched it up. This is a woman who's watched him DIE in her arms.
5. Everyone hating themselves for killing the poor thing. Jack's immediate kinship is giggle-inducing, but. Damn.
6. I love that they are dealing with the consequences of lying, and the toll it takes. And I love that Rhys knows now (although, I'm expecting him to get zapped soon, so he won't know anymore). And I love that Gwen shouted them all down about how "oh, it would be better for him and we know how you feel." NO YOU DON'T.
7. I do not love Tosh's mooning over Owen, but I'm also wondering how much he's trying to not let her close.
I can't even articulate further. That was an awesome, I couldn't stop watching, OR biting my nails episode.
eta: 8. I knew I forgot something.Owen Ianto's "Pray that they survive" was so marvelously cold and real, and he might actually have killed those guys if they hadn't, and--
I love mah show.
