I refuse to do pairing stats, gen stats or any other, as clearly, Kara Thrace and Sam Anders win. Most, if not all of the fic up there is also very girl-centric.

Hrm. I think my volume went up this year despite Lucy causing me to write epic amounts of bad porn in aim with her.

What's your favorite story of the year? Not the most popular, but the one that makes you happiest? Oh, man. Wraith and Pony Show-verse, for one. Pryde and Dresden, for another (I have got to get the second bit hammered out and posted, dammit). And I love re-reading my Kara/Sam fic. 'Cause they are hot.

My best story this year: ...Seriously. I have no idea. I know the ones I think are awesome, but. Ok. Twelves, because it's long and it was wierd to write--and This is Not a Quadratic Equation and also Another Hole in the Head. And, really. Logistical Nightmare.

Story most underappreciated by the universe, in my opinion: Speedball Tapestry, but I knew it would be, since it's not written in normal styles. Also. Very few people liked Larrin.

Most fun story: Cut the Deck. That one had me in stitches while writing it, and it still makes me crack the fuck up.

Sexiest story: Sweeter Than Wine, but that could just be because I've got a smutty brain.

Story with single sexiest moment: ....I. Ok. Um. Wandering Star. There is cellporn. Of course I think it's hot.

Hardest story to write: Aside from the painstaking research that went into Logistical Nightmare--ahem--gotta be With Three You Get Jell-O Salad, as I couldn't come up with any sort of hook at all (Twelves notwithstanding, I can usually pull off BSG fic with less thought), and it took forever to try to decide if it even worked right. And it sorta doesn't and sorta does.

Most unintentionally *telling* story: Going to the Mountain for a Cup of Tea and Conversation. I. It's very much what I'd love to beat into a lot of people. Also, all of the happy angsty dysfunctionalness of Kara and Sam in most of my fic.

Looking back, did you write more fic than you thought you would this year, less, or about what you'd predicted? I... I finished and published less than I thought I would, but I think I wrote more this past year than I had in the previous two combined.

What pairing/genre/fandom did you write that you would never have predicted in January 2006? Xena. I'd seen bits and pieces, but the fandom and canon is pretty huge and I never really considered it.

Did you take any writing risks this year? (See above for unexpected pairings, etc.) What did you learn from them? I'm not sure what exactly is meant by risk--Five Ways Sam Anders Doesn't Leave Kara... and Five Times Sam Kills Lee were both gambles, in a way. But they were less taxing than, say, This Perfect World Disorder. I certainly haven't been booed out of fandom. Er. As far as I know.

Do you have any fanfic or profic goals for the New Year? To finish The Slayer, the Cat and Some Wisdom; the second Pryde and Dresden bit; actually hack out the Mom and Dad vs. Liz and Shep (or Woolsey, now I think of it) bits of Wraith and Pony Show-verse; finish the files open in Yikes at this very moment. Lucy's goal is to make us finish something, edit and publish it. ;)
