Ben says he is no such thing, and it's cruel of her to remind him that he can't see his friend.

As to the matter of trousers and their suitability, he's silent upon.

She says it isn't cruel, accounting took the copier away for a reason.

D says his silence is a disappointment as he lives for her entertainment. She also grins.

Rolling his eyes, Ben does a quick soft-shoe across the room, then throws his hat at her. Accounting took it away as a cost-cutting measure.

D snatches the hat and beams. She says that's not what Aaron said and quickly hides behind the hat like it were a fan, just peeking over the edge while she dissolves into giggles.

Aaron, declaims Ben, his tone solemn, is full of crap. He eyes her, then snorts and drops down onto a chair, sprawling against the back.

[identity profile] musicforcylons.livejournal.com 2007-12-04 05:28 am (UTC)(link)
D giggles more, plunks the hat on her head at a jaunty angle, and moves so that her heels rest on whichever of his legs is closest.

After a moment she grins and asks what he is going to do for an encore.

Possibly something involving mangoes, Ben replies, clapping a hand over his eyes.

He absently tugs her shoe off and starts rubbing her foot.

[identity profile] musicforcylons.livejournal.com 2007-12-04 05:39 am (UTC)(link)
Does it involve singing, D wants to know, or ice cream.

She squishes down in her chair a little, relaxed, and completely uninterested in moving, thanks.

Singing, and a little red dress, Ben confirms, slumping in his own chair and still working on her foot.

And ice cream later, he adds, waving his hand a moment. Then he frowns and suggests she get better shoes, since her feet are obviously getting stood on far too often.

[identity profile] musicforcylons.livejournal.com 2007-12-04 05:51 am (UTC)(link)
She pouts just a little, and says she doesn't know if she still has that dress.

She also says if she didn't, she'd have to walk on her hands, then she tilts her head to the side and asks how much later.

Walking on her hands might be amusing to watch, Ben points out.

Much later, but the place delivers all night, so they have time to kill.

[identity profile] musicforcylons.livejournal.com 2007-12-04 01:40 pm (UTC)(link)
It might also induce whining, D points out.

That's good, D says, leaves plenty of time for other things.

[identity profile] lyssie.livejournal.com 2007-12-05 02:01 am (UTC)(link)
That would be nothing new, Ben notes.

[identity profile] musicforcylons.livejournal.com 2007-12-05 02:24 am (UTC)(link)
D admits that is true, however, this could mean an increase of whining.

Also, she says if he'd like to wear the red dress this time, someone sent a large fruit basket to the house this morning. She thinks it would make him a lovely hat.

By all means, let's curtail the whining, Ben suggests, reaching out for her other foot and starting to work his fingers over the arch.

He's silent for a bit upon the dress, then notes he was kind of maybe planning that. The fruit'd be a nice touch.

[identity profile] musicforcylons.livejournal.com 2007-12-05 04:13 am (UTC)(link)
D arched her back and stretched out, perfectly content, and says that might be just the way to do so.

There is a chance, D reminds him, that she might fall asleep before they get to the fruit if he keeps doing what he's doing.
