KARA THRACE IS THE PHOENIX.

For she died in an atmospheric whoosh, and has now 'come back from the dead' miraculously unscratched. The only thing missing is her going on about being fire and life incarnate!

Soon, soon, we will find out that Tory is really Kara's clone, and then there will be more woe and angst (and possibly a baby involved). Eventually, they will find the real Kara, in a cocoon.

If I have to choose between Phoenix Saga/Dark Phoenix, and the shit that is BSG on a regular basis, I'll go for the Phoenix stuff. At least there, I know Claremont actually likes women. Even if he's kinda creepy.

Oh man, I used to have an entire box full of those old 70's X-Men, including the entire Dark Phoenix saga... until the box got lost in a move. Such a loss.
