NCIS question..

And, actually, I should probably post this to comms or something. But.

When they throw someone in interrogation, they tell them who's questioning them/introduce themselves, right?

It's probably like a lot of things: they do if it occurs to the writer, skip it if they feel like it. Who knows? Er. I don't recall from canon, either.

I don't remember them ever making a point of introducing themselves. I guess you could assume the person being questioned got the information at some point before they ended up in the room. But if you wanted to have Gibbs or whoever be all "Hi I'm Agent Gibbs and today I'll be freaking you out while my minions watch", I don't think you'd be contradicting canon. *g*

I could be wrong, and often have been, but I cannot recall them introducing themselves in this series. There's just a lot of glowering and attitude. Ziva tends to introduce herself only by scaring the piss out of whatever poor criminal is on the opposite side of the table.

From what I recall, they don't even tell them what agency they belong to. There have been people who've asked.

I think generally they just glare at them. Information on names is only gained when the interrogators address each other by name.
