It's really funny, watching someone else's fic getting Ronned.

Watching Sam double-talk his wife about how he's a Cylon, but she isn't, is kind of amusing. ("If you were a cylon, then you've been one from the beginning." Oh, Sam. You want to tell her so bad, and you can't)

Heh. I'm just so happy they're having a conversation! Though people are already getting mad at him for "lying to cast suspicion on Kara." I guess that's one interpretation, but I tend to think it was the coming back from the dead that already cast the suspicion, you know?

And also, there's no reason to think that Sam knows she's not a cylon any more than anyone else does (even though I wrote it the other way, oh well...). He probably thinks that was why they were so drawn to each other.

Well, if he'd said, "You are a cylon, and have been one from the beginning" I'd read if that way. But he didn't.

I don't think he believes Kara's a cylon. I imagine he feels it's a twisted thing, though, given that Leoben was drawn to her, and Boomer was drawn to her. And he was. And if we use the comic-canon, Zak is a Cylon, too.

Tigh is drawn to Kara, too. Even when he hated her like hell in the first season, he still respected her and had her figured out. Chief considers her a good officer--and asks her what they should do in LDYB, not Tigh. I don't know if Tory's ever met Kara.

Yeah, the Cylons have always been really drawn to Kara. Good point about Tigh. And while it's a total retcon/fanwank, I like the fact that he kind of saved her life in the Mini by being a bastard to her. If she hadn't been in the brig for punching him, she'd have died in that first assault when the Cylons disabled the Vipers. And then, no Earth. I like to think that was his final-fiver mandate kicking in. And the preview made it look like he was pulling a gun on Adama to keep him from shooting Kara's viper down. Wow.
