My surreality shall be my bastion....

Y'know, I often wonder where dreams come from.

Not that it matters.

I was shopping, this morning, with my mother and my brother. I think we were shopping for Gabe's birthday. Not sure.

But we were in this one china shop, and I found a display case of farm animals.

Now, to give this a little sense, I am always looking for farm type animals, to find sheep for Acey. It's a thing, with me. No one has sheep. Ever. Pigs, cows, horses, ducks, geese, you name it. No sheep.

I insisted on looking all through this case, even to standing on something so I could look over the top of it, which was crowded with figurines.

Finally, I found them. Sheep. And not just any sheep, but BLUE sheep. Imagine my glee at finding I wasn't going to haev to paint them blue myself. They were, oddly, made in New Zealand.

I grabbed one and happily danced off to the cashier, who had no clue what the price was... In the middle of this "There's no price tag, sorry." "Do you know what the price is?" type discussion, she paused, and conducted an auction over the earpiece she was wearing (like a telemarketer's).

We finally settled on a price of nine bucks.

As I was wrapping it, I found the sheep disassembled into about ten little piece. It was a sheep puzzle!

Very odd, I tell ya.

Sigh. Wish I could find those blue sheep in the stores.
