bleh. Well, that explains a few things.

I have... non-bacterial thingies at the back of my throat, congestion, and feel crappy. At least I know that I really have been having a virus since sometime last week, and that's why I've been so tired (seriously. To bed by, like, one on Friday? wtf.)

Doctor's orders: drink lots of fluids and buy some otc drugs. Bah.

Slept through my alarm this morning. The urge to call in was very violent. May do so tomorrow, claiming the whole being sick thing (why do I only get mild shit? I still feel like crap, but I can walk. And drive).

We could play some tonsil hockey and make that VERY bacterial. ;)

Actually, it's been feeling very better for me, so have a little patience, and it'll feel better. :)

I may have some free time on Sunday, so I might stop by with your birthday present. :)

Blah that sucks, hon. It's never fun to be that middle level of sickness, where you can still quasi-function but not enjoy it at all. And then you're all cranky and no one understands that you feel like shit.

I hope you feel better soon!

Maybe I'm weird, but I kind of prefer functional half-sickness. It doesn't entirely disrupt your life, but if you want to play the sick card, you can. Especially if you want to be self-indulgent and simply laze around on the couch, watching TV and reading magazines and eating bad food.

Rest up, dear. Sounds like your body hasn't quite recovered from your trip. ;)
