The only thing I can figure is Rahne and Jimmy were drunk with Tab and 'Berto and lost a BET.

Never mind readers. I don't understand how anyone IN the Marvel Universe can ever believe anyone is really dead anymore. Hasn't some clever person hung a lantern on that by now, and made it a psychological issue or something?

Except of course the character in question would then be vindicated when the person they're refusing to believe is dead turns out to be, in fact, not dead. So, erm, never mind. *eyeroll*

Sam Guthrie actually said he wouldn't believe Nate was dead until he saw a body. (And actually, given the state of the MU and past precedent, even seeing a body doesn't mean jack anymore.)
