I hate Mondays.
Y'know. In case anyone was uncertain.
1. I could not find my boots. At all. I spent five minutes searching and gave up, which meant I went to work in the only other pair of shoes I have (aside from gold sandals, yes)--flipflops that are one-step up as they've not got the thingie between your toes (ow). Luckily, even with our 'no open toes' policy, no one objected.
2. Job.
3. Getting to job was hampered by the TRASH GUYS, who, according to the schedule, are currently picking up on Fridays. Yes. Because this is TOTALLY FRIDAY. REALLY. (please?) So, there went another five minutes, since my car was blocked in (they moved as quick as they could, though, which was nice).
4. Accidents on the highway added twenty minutes to my ride into work.
5. At that point, I nearly turned around and came home so I could call in sick. Because, dammit.
6. Dentist, which actually went smoothly. But. I hate the taste of blood. People who love it and crave it? Go get a lot of dental work done, and you'll be happy for WEEKS AND WEEKS.
7. DID I MENTION IT'S FRAKKING RAINING? My toes have been frelling cold all day.
However.
In happier news, I have a new crack!fic crossover OTP. Tia Dalma/James T. Kirk. YOU KNOW IT WOULD BE AWESOME.
