With lavendar_menace (she's the amazon), dlly (he's the merchant-navy man we captured and made our cabin boy), nique (the scary pirate), MightyCampWoman (Pirate's sis), and me (the one with the feathers).

I mentioned I wasn't going to be easy to miss....

Last night, though, I dug out a bodice-type thing I'd done by hand and that sort of sucked (I mocked it up from a much smaller pattern). I ended up taking it apart and putting it back together again, and I'm still not really satisfied, but it worked for the time being...I was up until five a.m., in fact.

After we got home, we introduced dlly to Doctor Who via Horror of Fang Rock. I had totally forgotten how frakking AWESOME Leela is.

Thank you =) Although, the headdress was bought (it was so nifty!), and my needlework is... spotty, at best. But, yeah, I did the skirt, too, and it really is one of the better things I've done.
