Damn. Sometimes, I forget how fucking awesome Red Cap is. And then I do things, like stick 'Payback' in, and. God. Oh, BBC, why did you cancel this show? It was so good.

Random thoughts...

1. Burns wanted Jo to leave for CP, so she could date Roper.
2. The end of the episode is heart-breaking in its own way. And almost a bait and switch.
3. Love is risking your life for someone else.
4. I have a thing for men who kiss women on cheeks, hands, foreheads.
5. I miss Neve like I miss chocolate. I also think she got a job via Col. Fox.
6. Roper and Jo from episode 0 to episode 6 ARE AWESOME.
7. Jo's hair is so artfully colored.

"You look nice."
"The dry cleaners nicked my uniform, sir."
"Was that before or after the dog ate your homework?"

This show was trully awe inspiring.

How about bruce's line about being "too fat" as he ran to stop the german police sniper from shooting hippy?

Neve being catty during the briefing ("accidently" playing the two personal moments between hippy and jo) and not looking all that guilty?

Neve is still, however, ten thousand more kinds of awesome than bloody Harriet, who I can't stand the more I think of season two.

Too right! I wonder why the writers didn't have jo thump harriet (several times by my count).

And btw neve was obvisously(?) attracted to jo. Neve aplogised! After being caught out taking the credit, but still, she APOLOGISED!!

Well, physical violence against ones co-workers is a no-no (unless you're Roper, of course).

....hahah. Dude. My own personal theory about why Neve left is that she and Jo were having sex, she realized Jo liked Roper more than her, and decided that she hated Germany anyway (either that, or Colonel Fox stole her from SIB for some reason. Maybe he liked Neve's legs?)

I have a thought. Maybe after the events of s2 ep6 neve ends up in jo's life and the two triumph over the evil one (Harriet Frost)!!

The wedding was perfect for neve to see that jo was ignoring hippy with a vengence.

p.s. Who do you think would be the replacement staff sergeant if roper took over as wo2(burns rank/job)? Would harriet stay if she was not promoted (to the job she thought was hers after all(ep01))?
