Thank you. I was completely and utterly unaware that Carmen A. has stated several times, in several interviews, that Jacob doesn't like Jack much, and wouldn't have liked him with his daughter. I sincerely hope you will continue your crusade against authors who write the cliche of "Jake finds out", and tell all of them this very pertinent fact.

Never ever again will I write fic that contradicts what actors think of their characters and motivations. I have totally learned my lesson. Really.

Hahaha! This is actually a big DEAL on the S/D Rebellion list. Except... that isn't exactly what Carmen said. He didn't say anything about not liking Jack. When asked twice, once in an interview and once at a con (I think), he simply said that he thought Daniel would make a better romantic partner for Sam. So they're twisting his words a bit. And yeah, wtf? Carmen and Jacob... not the same.
