1. Have gone to eye place. Need glasses. Must wait for them to order lenses, as one eye is worse than other. Bah.
2. Apparently, there's going to be a 'year zero' BSG comic. And here I was hoping that ugly thing for Free Comic Day was just a one-off. Sadly, no. And, apparently, it's show canon, too. Yeah. Right. Yuh-huh. You keep believin' that, Mr. Writer Man.
3. Speaking of, though, this cover would be better. If I believed spines worked like that. At least the BSG comic has a certain style to the art...
4. ---in an eta, I will have a comparison shot that shows that, no, you do NOT get that kind of definition out of a BSG flight suit. But my computer is spazzing, so I shall reboot.

1a) Would you kill me if I told you that you look VERY HOT in glasses?

2/3) Yes, well.. it is a BIG seller for them, so it's natural to want to make something 'new and original' and while the art is okay, at least it's not.. you know.. Ankle-deficient.
4) Normal fabric doesn't work like that. It's artistic crap.
Though I would point out that Kara looks like she's been hit with the ugly stick, even though the ass is quite nice.

3. This is true. And I actually like Raynor's stuff. There's a sense of movement to it. And, no, he's not nailing everyone down completely, but it still works. The Year Zero stuff, otoh, looks like Whilce Portacio circa 1996. Sigh.
4. *nods* And, actually, Raynor has the same problem with Caprica's red dress of doom. Her dress is all drapey, which is nice and artistic. Except, for once, he's given it more fabric than it actually has.
So far, I can't find ANY ass-shots of the flight suit. I can find partials, and one or two blurry ones. But nothing like what I need. Arrgh. Hrm.
