*g* I got my start in comics fandom. It's very hard to shake the monkey on my back, despite the fact that I literally didn't read anything between '97 and '05. And then Fabian returned and was a very bad man.... Claremont brought back sort-of-original-Excalibur. And now Paul "I created Benny Summerfield" Cornell is writing a Pete Wisdom LS.

Your icon, however, is making me want to dig out Avengers #400. Sigh. Or maybe Force Works, for the 90's angst value.
