Is this a sign of the apocalypse?

The Brewers are number one, in American baseball standings. number one, people. There's something wrong about that.

In other news: Teyla-writers, go write Teyla ficlets (either that, or stop telling me what a wide fanbase the women of Atlantis have, and shut the fuck up about how abused the characters are). http://community.livejournal.com/teylafen/89008.html

Yes, I did just say put up or shut up.

Also, there's a tiny fandom ficathon prompty thingie going on over here: http://community.livejournal.com/smallfandomfest/664.html

Red Cap and UK Touching Evil are viable options.

The sad thing is, I don't know any of the history. I just know this isn't exactly precedented.

Quick Lecture:

1982, the Brewers were the AL champions.
They faced the NL Champs, the St. Louis Cardinals.

That was the last and only time we made it to the World Series.

I don't think we made it to the post-season past '82 either.
I'd have to check.

Yes, aand we haven't WON the series in a long... LONG tome. Not as bad as the Red Sox streak, certainly, but long.

Never thought I had a bome of baseball affectation in my body? Surprise!
