It's occured to me, while making Painkiller Jane tvs icons that, at this point, I could demand a hot, angsty blonde, and I'd have a choice of several.

Kara Thrace.
Jo McDonagh.
Jane Vasco.
Sam Carter.
Jenna Stannis.

Or, y'know, I could just have one of each. I promise I'd play nice with them.

ETA. Also, please to note. One of these is Jo McDonagh, the other is Painkiller Jane.

The funny thing is, until you put up a picture and listed her full name, I didn't know who you were talking about. Of course, even with her full name, my mind kept going to Jo (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jo_Lupo), because if we're talking about ass-kicking women named Jo, well, who else would I think of? ^_^

I've tried and tried to get into the TV series plural, and I still think comic Jane kicks ass thoroughly above all televised versions.

Are you surprised? The kind of stuff she can do in the books is either, A) highly offensive, B) far too expensive, or C) to out there to make a credible TV series.

Not only that, Jane and Jo? Drive fast and with scary intent, and HAVE BOTH BEEN MOCKED BY MALE COMPANIONS, which pissed them off, causing them to drive wild... The mental disconnect this show is causing is going to drive me insane. *g*

Heh... I haven't watched the most recent ep, but I saw the first one, and um... I never read the comic, but I'm not a huge fan of the chick who plays Jane. She comes off as a little wooden to me. But I'll keep watching in the hopes that I like it more. I do like McBride or whatever his name is.
