I occasionally crosspost, just to get the most replies from the fractured Nexi, but I never saw the need to blab about it. If you're in other communities where the crossposting is going, then you'd notice. If you're not, you don't care.

I've never really gotten people apologising and declaring they're off to bed, or eat, or whatever. I can see the courtesy part of it, but if there aren't replies coming, I'm pretty sure we can notice and assume ourselves. ;)

You know, I may post a mod post on Sages letting people know that there is no need to say that you're crossposting to other comms. I can't really forbid people from doing it, because that's a little draconian, but it is irritating, I agree, and I'd like to do something to discourage it. I'll talk to Vimesy Co-Mod about it and see what we can come up with.
