*pauses in the midst of reading old Wildcats issues*

Dear Warblade, YOUR EMO MANPAIN BORES ME. PLEASE DIE DIE DIE. NOW.

Lee Adama is more interesting than you!

That said, look who guest-starred in a Wildstorm comicbook.... Or maybe, cameoed is the word.

Ahh, Scott man-stubble...

*fangirls*

Oh my GOD, I just reread this last month and cackled about it with Grifter's player. AAHAHAHAHA.

I'm also reading Joe Casey's Vol. 2 and Vol. 3 stuff again - now THAT was some excellent Warblade.

Poor Reno.

All of Lee's men have stubble. Even the cyborg.

I... flipped through the Casey stuff I have and was a bit bored. No women = Lyss wandering off...

Also. Reno still bores me. Gimme some Jeremy and Cole any day (I have a type, after all, which Cole fits like a frakkin' glove, thanks to the Cole-Zealot interaction)

awww... that was nice of Jim Lee to put in a little homage to the wedding.

*giggles* Yes. Yes it was. For the record, though, Scott and Jean's honeymoon is cut short as their ship is sucked up into a vortex. Which is ok. Fury saves them, and they go bopping off to the future for thirteen years...

[identity profile] lizardbeth-j.livejournal.com 2007-02-24 06:16 am (UTC)(link)
yes, I remember. And they went and found wee!Nathan and all that. But still... Jim Lee had stomped off from Marvel what, two years before at the time he did this at the time of the great Image exodus? it's kind of sweet.

*stares at your icon for a moment*

You know, for a moment, I thought that was Sam Anders.

But. Yes! This was issue eight of WC, so, something like a year and a half (given Image's trouble with getting issues out on time) since there was loud "OMG MARVEL SUX!!!!" from that quadrant. *g*

[identity profile] lizardbeth-j.livejournal.com 2007-02-24 06:32 am (UTC)(link)
it's actually Jonas. *g* I quite like the pose. Though it might have been an Anders icon for a moment, since I'm in the middle of an icon changeover and my default has changed four times in the last five minutes.

I need a new Sam icon.

I could not decide if it was Cam or Jonas. Yes.

Sam icons are, of course, a must. In many places. I should update hotcuppa, too

...and because five other people and I have been talking about doing this for over a month now, and because you DID post Wildcats:

It'll be up and running in a day or so. Y'know, for Stormwatch, Authority, Wildcats, etc. goodness.

Awww. And just in time for Timey's rant about PHD, and my soon to be posted random commentary on the women in WildCATS being far ahead of their time... Or something like that.

!!!

The end of Vol. 2 and all of Vol. 3 had some wonderful Grifter/Zealot. In particular Vol. 2, and the last nine issues of Vol. 3. I fell in love with Joe Casey after reading his take on Wildcats. He GETS strong women.
