me<-LOL'd looking at your icon. I just got done watching Celebrity Big Brother UK with Dirk Benedict in it. He actually did really well in it surprisingly. Did he really have the syph?
LOL that is so funny, I had the HUGEST crush on him when BSG first aired. Of course I was about 11-12 at the time, and didn't know the difference between men at the time. I also had a Leif Garrett poster on my wall next to the Shaun Cassidy.
Heh. My friend illust8r had a crush on Dirk and I had a crush on Richard. We Mary-Sued ourselves into the story.
The really funny thing, though, is that Dirk and Richard were both at a convention we went to a couple of years ago. A friend of ours tripped and almost fell and Richard caught her and held her 'til she caught her balance. A perfect gentleman -- just like the Apollo he used to play. Dirk, on the other hand, kept hitting on illust8r -- just like Syphilis Boy the Starbuck he used to play.
Heheh I loved Richard too! I have lost count how many times I have seen him at cons over the years. I think I have only run into Dirk once, maybe twice, at a con though.
I have nothing but great things to say about Richard. He is an absolute gentlemen, I agree! And I love listening to him speak.
