So. Packing.
It's done. I think. After a couple of unpacks-then jam everything back in hards...
I don't know that I'm taking too much stuff. After all, some of it is going to be gone for the trip back. Glow sticks, etc... The pop guns with confetti in them. The presents for Ryss, Tom, and others.
Maybe I'm optimistic, though. I made a list the other night, all the NAs I need. 20, or so. I wouldn't mind having a complete collection...
I have new batteries and film, and tapes to listen to. I printed Marya in Middle Earth out at school (83 pages, 9pt. Courier), and I have coloured markers for massive checking and such--ooh. Clipboard. Got one around here, somewhere. Must dig up.
And I have a nomination in the CBFFAs. Hee. And Marya is up this time. Yes! And several of the ones I put in went through. HAH! I'm not the only one who liked them. ;)
I'm going to be in LA for six days. Six. Wow. From noon tomorrow (LA time) to about noon on Tuesday. It's weird, though. I keep expecting someone to tap me on the shoulder and tell me my tickets aren't valid. Or I have to use the money I have for it on something else. Something practical, like a new washing machine.
Which we need, btw. The old one finall clunked out. There's now a jar for change and the like on top of the washer, with, "New Washer Fund" on it. Maybe in a few weeks, there will be enough for one.
sigh. I should just run out of clean clothing by then....
Hrm. Food. Chocolate. Must find some.
