Vague spoilers for seasons one and two of BSG, and season one of Lantis and season eight of SG1. Probably.

1-3. Challenge 15: Dire Straits' Brothers in Arms
4-6. Challenge 14: Psapp's Cosy in the Rocket (#4 won first place and best application) - I'm still deeply in love with the way 6 worked out. zomg. so much work. 4, while very pretty took about five minutes, two random filters and one crop. *eg*
7-9. Challenge 13: Muse's Time is Running Out (#7 tied first place)
10-12. Challenge 11: Josh Groban's Let Me Fall (#12 won third)
13-15. Challenge 10: Nine Inch Nails' We're in This Together (these icons were never submitted, as they were finished and then I, um, sort of forgot they were here) 16 = variation. I like playing.

1,2. week 3: Icon a significant moment from Kobol's Last Gleaming.
3,4. week 4: Mirror-images. I'm still fabulously amused at Helo's Heart.
5,7 (6 is a variation). week 5: Icon moments in nature, something that captures the drama of the scene. Textless. (7 tied for first)

Note the difference between weeks one and two. Week one, I was casual about the fact that I knew Sam/Jack icons were going to win. So I made a very happy, cute, Sam/Pete icon. I did NOT feel dirty afterwards. Then there were Teal'c and ze Jack. 'Course, then shippy icons won... Hence, week two was the Week of Sam and Jack. That second icon? Took me about half an hour, because I futzed around with Sam's eyes for a long time. Not to mention trying to decide what to say. ("We have no idea what you're talking about")
Week 1: The Sky/Week 2: two-shots.

Week 3 was text quotes.
Week 4 was dead people. Icon #8 is a classic "How Not To Make an Icon" icon. It's got two filter layers, two copied image layers, and a text layer not to mention that border I've had laying around. I played around a lot to get it to look that ugly. Kinda sad, 'cause Hathor's pretty. By contrast, Janet is rather lovely (and also took time as I had to decide what to do with her).
I'm beginning to like no text...

Week 5 was to icon episode titles. Didn't matter if that's where the image came from. Timey can be blamed for both, most especially Danny's floating head in the dark with Linethingies.

Week 1. The ancient ones - ancient tech, etc.
Week 2. Define sexyLizzeh's neck. Well, actually, necks, shoulders, arms, that bit right above the wai--um, yes. The women of Lantis define sex.

Week 3: Eye of the Storm, rain, etc. 5 'as a lifetime goes' from Echo and the Bunnymen's Thick-Skinned World. Er. Shippy Sparky icon.
Week 4: headless challenge. I still love 'where the breasts are', but yes, it's an ugly icon. Teyla's arm is nice, though.

Week 5: icon from the opening credits.
