Lizzie wants Shep back. Rodney gets drugs. OMG RONON/TEYLA. Plus, Teyla is tougher than BOTH guys. Mwahah.

Sadly, Lizzie was not sleepy enough to hug Shep. And therefore, there was no, "OMG!BREASTS" mental thought from Shep. Sad for him, but he almost had Wraith-groupie nookie.




KARA

So, we all know the only reason I watch this show. Right? Yes.

I love that Cain picked up on her being the best bet--AND that she demoted her CAG because he wasn't smart enough to play outside the box. Mmm. Kara/Blackbird otp.

Cain wants to kick the Cylons, Kara, but I'm not sure she gives a shit about the civvies.

MOM AND DAD. I'm sure A.j. is gleeing, even if she hasn't seen it yet.

Note that Tigh looks horror-stricken. That's when you know you've fucked up, man. NOT SURPRISED, though. Totally. Because, well, Cain? Takes what she needs and tosses the rest. I've pretty much been waiting to hear this since the end of the mid-season.

I liked Six and Baltar and Gina. OMG SHE USED TO WATCH ANDERS PLAY. Bet she had him before Kara, too. *giggles madly*

Had so much love for this ep too...

One quibble though: why is it Lee flying the Blackbird in next ep? Why not Kara, since she's obviously the better pilot and she's the CAG AND so far she's the only one we've actually seen flying the damn thing?

She had so much trouble with it her first time out, and she's Starbuck. Why give it to Lee for such an important mission, and have it be one of his first times flying the thing?

The only rationale I could think of was that the mission sounds similar to the one he did blowing up the Cylon oil refinery when Starbuck was injured, but like, the only reason he was flying that was b/c STARBUCK WAS INJURED!

Why not have your best pilot flying the most important part of your mission?

Oh, Kara was awesome. And a little smitten with Cain, which makes me feel sorry for her. And the end, with Adama: "Anything for you." She keeps being stuck between powerful people and asked to do terrible things, and I wonder what effect it will have on her. After all, Adama didn't bother explaining why Cain needed to be taken out, and I wonder what Kara will think of him, particularly since he's totally allied with Roslin now. Hmmm.

But Captain Thrace and her amazing plans! Yay! And on a totally shallow note, we're seeing her more and more in her blue uniform, which is totally hot.

She is. Plus, she's doing stuff that makes crazy military sense. And, well, she has a very... dehumanized look at the Cylons. Which is, again, the military mind. We've been lucky that Adama hasn't been the same way. Not to mention Roslin's expediency.

I'm going to randomly be shrieking "CAPTAIN THRACE" for the next week or so. Out loud. Yes.

Kara is continually being torn between the people she trusts. And neither side ever seems to want her to do good things. Always bad. Right now, I'm wondering if she's wishing she'd stayed on Caprica. At least there, the only dilemma she had was whether to put on socks. Because taking out the farms? Not a moral quandry.

I also note that we don't know how much of the story Kara knows. Nor do we know what she thinks of it.

I second this vote!! We actually had kara promoted in the RPG a while back, we've been playing alot off speculation and I love it when we're accurate! I was so sure she would be promoted that i even bough myyself the captains rank pins rather than the Lt. ones

I think she should just tell them, "Screw you both," lock them in a room to duke it out, take the entire fleet to Caprica to rescue Anders and have a STUNNING victory over the Cylons, get field-promoted to ADMIRAL BIG DAMN DEAL THRACE, and make sure Anders is so sore that he can't walk for a week but it's okay because he has this ENORMOUS "Damn, I had SEX!" grin on his face the whole time.
