Think about it.

The Cylons claim their God has a plan. That there is an order to the universe, and they know what it is and how to effect it.

God has a plan which includes pre-programmed lesser beings that will go on to program their off-spring in the ways of the plan and order.

Also. Marcus is a Cylon.

No, the enforced drive is good. Besides, it does make a scary kind of sense, you know. Right down to the biological-technology of the Raiders and the almost fluidity of the larger basestars.
