lyssie: (Kara Leoben Welcome)

omg.

er, this will have spoilers for new Galactica episodes Kobol and Home, so, er, cutting. Yes.

I keep watching random BSG music videos, and some of them use the Kara jumping Six and them falling and landing thing. And I not that Kara clearly lands smack on top of Six. Seriously. Chest to chest.

And yet, Kara gets up and walks away.

She should have that piece of rebar through her chest.

Which led to me bitching about it to Timey, and her pointing out that this just makes Kara an Immortal. So, yeah. She's special. She's ALSO STERILE. No babies. AND, the Cylons CANNOT USE HER OVARIES TO MAKE CYLON BABIES, either.

Hahahahah.

*handwaves vigorously*

BSG is going to give me wrist problems if it keeps trying to pull this kind of stupid things. I thought that when I saw the fight, but I tried to ignore it as best I could, but they keep doing dumb stuff like that.

I think by the end of this season, we're going to end up waving ours hand off. But that's okay.

I love my show with its dumb science/logic *hugs*

I think I may be reaching my handwaving limit, though. I was complaining about the lack of logic in Nightmare Before Christmas today, and that has walking skeletons and Santa Claus. That can't be a good sign.

*snerk* I suppose if they weren't trying so hard to be Teh Bestest SF Evah, I wouldn't be as mocking about it. sigh.

Yeah, pretty much. I complain less on Farscape where they don't seem to have any illusions about having good science (although I still cringe when they have people have tragic love scenes in the vacuum of space, and then surviving). BSG takes itself too seriously to have such stupid science.
ext_18106: (Kara she will hit you)

"How does this work?"

"I have no idea, but isn't it cool?" ... and then John grins geekily. Yes.

*cackles*

I am not allowed to read your comments to other people anymore.

I though you said "tragic love vacuums" and my head was filled with Hoovers.

I had wondered about that, but, eh, figured she was like, ummm, magically sideways or something.

*laughs hysterically*

I would be horribly tempted to write a (very short) Tragic Tale of Hoover Love, but I'm about to collapse, so I'll have to leave that to your or Lyssie (or at least until the morning).

Theirs was a love that dare not speak it's extremely wind sucking name, and in fact could not for that very reason...

THE TRAGIC SPACE VACUUMS OF LUUUUUUUUUURVE

Image Image

Edward and George met one fine spring morning on the showroom floor in down town Caprica. George was a little shy when he first was taken from his crate for it's cardboard was rumpled and the label was peeling off at one end. Edward, on the other hand, was quite the vacuum about the town, having been out of his box a whole hour more.

Dude, if the bullets in Adama's stomach can magically move towards his chest then the bar can magically move out of Kara damnit!

TV logic is clearly different from Earth logic. And I totally had that thought, too! However, I was still in a state of shock so it got pushed out of my brain.

You're insane. That's all I can say in response.

:*

Neither was mine at the time.

I think it was just sleep deprivation.

If you say so. I'm going to stick with the insane idea, though. We're all mad here.
