Farscape blather

I'd forgotten just how much I love this show.

The entirety of We're So Screwed and Bad Timing just.. OMFG. THIS is what tv should be. Tight, intelligent, full of passion and movement and--guh.

THIS is why I can't find Firefly or Babylon Five or Galactica or SG-1, or whatever, the best thing ever.

*swans off to finish watching*

well, Farscape certainly is the Best Thing Ever, but firefly, bab 5, BSG, and sg-1 are all terrific too.

but Farscape just WINS.

I love those episodes of Farscape, but I can't seem to get through early season 4 because I keep getting bored. It seems like when I like Farscape, it's amazing, but when I don't like it, it's really bad, which is not so much a problem I've had with...well, BSG at least. But anyway, Farscape is definitely shiny and wonderful.

That's exactly where I got stuck, but then it got really good again. I'm already worrying about what I'm going to do when there's no more new-to-me Farscape to watch.

I like BSG better in many ways, but Farscape's trump card is Aeryn/John, OTP to rule them all. I've never seen or read anything to beat them.

That's comforting, then. I'm on episode 7, I think, and I just can't seem to get through it.

I can't really compare BSG and Farscape because I like them for different reasons and in different ways. I have no idea which one I'd pick if someone held a gun to my head and made me choose (so it's a good thing that will never happen).
