Yo! Wizard World Chicago peoples!

Timey has an update: http://www.livejournal.com/users/nique/511914.html

Also, all X-Men comics fans, I'm disappointed in the lack of interest in a ficathon! It saddens me. Greatly.

Sorry, I just don't do fic anymore. :(

I'm not allowed to start anything new. Kerri said so.

My brain has moved on to DC.

That and a good portion of what Marvel is publishing reads like bad fanfic right now, anyway.

sigh. Yeah. Technically, I'm not supposed to be even thinking about other ficathons with two almost overdue...

Once the summer is over I'll be allowed to write new stuff

Aww..Sigh.

HAH. Well, I would have suggested setting it ten years ago, timewise... Y'knonw, when people were in some sort of consistent character.

This is probably beating a dead horse, but why does it have to be an X-Men comic ficathon...?

("Because we all like writing X-Men fic!" Well, apparently not. So...)

hah! It isn't 1998 anymore...

Although, honestly, if you think we'll get enough people to even do a marvel-wide ficathon, I'm willing to try running it. I just hit on the X-Men since there used to be so much of it...

You can tell because there aren't twelve comments here calling me a whiny bitch. ;)

I don't even know what a "ficathon" is, exactly. But you have to figure that at least a few more people would be interested if it were all comics/all publishers.

I mean, I'd love to write my Wierd Happenings Organisation stuff, but with almost two years of writer's block, it ain't likely. :)

BTW, you any idea how they brought Psylocke back from the dead?

I bet it wasn't as good as my idea. :P

hrm. point. I'm just not sure there are enough Marvel writers writing.

Ficathon = people put in a request for what they want, tell you what they can't write and can, and you then shuffle them all and hand out assignments. There's a deadline.

Blargh. Just can't seem to motivate brain for fic anymore.
