So. Saw Angel.

Before going on to Angel, though. I'm going to set the scene. I'm at work.

Don (my boss) is putting up Christmas decorations behind me. For some unknown reason, Jim (his boyfriend, partner, etc) decides to talk to me.

While the last ten minutes of Angel are playing.

Onscreen, I see it is raining. And Darla is talking to Angel. I half-turn away to answer a question from Jim....

...Darla turns to ash...

I went speechless. I might even have paled. I certainly felt like someone had slammed a fist into my gut.

And I can't cry or scream, or exclaim, or YELL. Because my boss is behind me, and Jim is still yammering on about some stupid shit.

So, I give you... a primal scream that I couldn't do then.
