Cross-fandom amusement...

I want the Cylons to run into the Uncreated!

Can you imagine that?

"Do you have a God?"

"God has a plan."

"We killed our God."

"..."

"Now we kill you. For you are not a sneaky jewish girl who can walk through walls."

"Sex."

"Not interested. Die."

"Erk."

"Let's take a break for lunch."

Dude! The Uncreated! From Ellis's Excalibur run (and reused later, apparently). They were these creepy-scary aliens who'd basically been all "We love Our God" and then they found him and killed him. And thus, their new purpose in life is to cleanse the universe of people who believe in God or Gods.

Since the Cylons have a thing for God...

It would be, like a match made in heaven.

Yup. Issues. *checks* #83-103, and the Pryde and Wisdom LS (which was smashing). Ellis's graps of the characters was quite good. He made them, well, human and intelligent instead of crappy (which Lobdell was successful at).

er... 9...94-97? I think. I hit the book right after he started, which wasn't long after Phalanx Covenenant, and right before Age of Apocalypse. So. 95-97, then. Right. Because Operation: Zero Intelligence was 97, and Onslut was 96, therefore, AoA was 95.

See, I've been out of this for ages. You're lucky I even have some idea who "Ellis" is, much less what obscure work he's done. :-)
