I hate that a comm devoted to SAM is constantly posted to with PETE or JACK/DANIEL icons.

eta: Yes, of COURSE it's all right for a community devoted to Sam to only be posted to with icons that have nothing to do with her. Gosh, stupid fucking me for even considering that the people who constantly bash Sam might take this as further proof that we don't actually like her (that was reaching, I'll admit)

But answer me this: If I were posting on a Jack/Daniel community with exclusively Sam Carter icons, would it be acceptable, or would people tell me to take my cunt and piss off?

My main objection is that it's, y'know, a SAM comm. Not one for Jack, Daniel, Teal'c, Pete, Hammond, Janet, et al.

Understand I'm speaking out of ignorance here, so I could be wrong...

But, I've noticed that a lot of these people are J/D slashers and that some of the photos are less than flattering of Sam. Granted, I don't have the time to look at more closely right now, but is it just possible that this is an anti-Sam site with a hidden agenda?

If I'm wrong, I will take my slap on the wrist and ponder my misdeed quietly in the corner.

I actually agree with you.

It would be nice if on a Sam comm we could just love Sam as Sam without defining her by her relationships with the men in her life.

Leave the Sam/Jack for sj_daily and the Sam/Pete for humworthy dammit.
