dude.

So, I took a whole pill last night, and went and fell into bed. It didn't work completely, at first. And then I fell asleep.

Whooboy, did I fall asleep.

Slept like the dead, really. Which is good.

However, am now awake. And not for the reasons you'd think.

It doesn't hurt. At all. This is disconcerting, people. I spent the last three (ish) days with it hurting, and now it's stopped.

Oh well. At least I'm no longer loopy.

Oh, you got the good happy pills.

Hope you don't need them, but just remember that I once got through a long holiday weekend of dental pain with vodka and tequila.

Did I mention that I was a high school student at the time?

*snorts* I am now less liable to be unable to type.

Why did I have a sudden image of you chewing on a keyboard?

Hurrah for no pain.

Speaking as the Voice of Crown Experience(tm), if you do end up getting crowns and you can afford gold ones, and it's not your front tooth (unless you're like, you know, into bling), do it. Porcelein crowns will crack after a few years and must be replaced, while gold last (theoretically) forever. I now have three gold crowns in my mouth, which gives me an Air of Authority in this matter.

Root canals? I've had about five of them (I've lost count) over the years, but the last one was probably about the time you were born and my memory has faded. I think it's a much easier procedure now than it was Back in the Day.

And hurrah for the good drugs. Better Living Through Pharmaceuticals is my motto.
