"I'm your commanding officer," he pointed out, tone fatuous.

"Right."

"This is becoming grounds for insubordination, Colonel."

"Oh, I'm so scared." Ok. Maybe that was going a little too far.

The General snorted. "Don't make me have to punish you."

"With a spanking?" She smirked.

He blinked. "Guh. Carter, that was unfair."

I am twirling with joy at that thought of longer Sam and Jack fic. *g* Seems as though everyone's playing with Shepard and Weir these days, which is fine, but Sam and Jack are just so friggin' cute. Or at least they are when you bring them out to play.

Oh, but trainwrecks are great, too. I love your fluff, but Smurftacular (all its parts) is my all time fav, with Coconut Island a close seconds. Now, I wouldn't call either a trainwreck by a long shot, but they've got a certain amount of angst that just makes me go "Damn, but that's just how it would happen." So, go out and write the angst, the trainwrecks, the fluff. And finish that XOmen (another ??? from me, but don't forget that I'm a rock dweller ;) as I know that will make another subset of your readers happy. But please don't forget Our Heroes at the SGC.
