Yeah... Don't know if it made too huge of an impact, but back when Fox was considering making a Doctor Who series, there was (this was all fan-rumor on the Who side of things, btw), apparently, consideration. Make Doctor Who. Or make Sliders.

After the TV movie for DW bombed, well... They made Sliders.
