ugh

So. It hit me tonight. Hello, SG-1 fan types.

The Furlings are not fucking cat people.

Please, dear god in heaven, stop WRITING THEM AS SUCH.

Dumbshits.

Went to Wal-Mart tonight. It was almost the pit of hell. So many people my psychosomatic claustrophobia kicked in and I nearly started screaming at people. (when I feel like every nerve is exposed and the stupid fuckers nearby are stepping on them? must get out).

In further work news, the analyst has been with us this week, learning all of our jobs so she can recommend what part of customer care to cut (from the sounds, it's gonna be a lot. y'know, so that there isn't REALLY any customer service. just the facade.)

Can't hate her, she's a nice woman. But. Damnit. I like the people I work with (save the new temp who, just... doesn't click. Sadly.)

Must make carrot cake. hrm.

I love that it's been 8 seasons and we haven't met the Furlings. I wonder if we'll meet them on Atlantis...

Really. I don't even care if Jack said it sounded "cute and fuzzy" to him. Yeesh.

Kinda makes you wonder what they do look like, though, huh? I've even heard some speculation that SG-1 has met them before, and just hasn't realized it. A couple of possible choices were Daniel's grandfather's giant aliens and the (aliens impersonating the) Salish.

My god, you scared me for a moment... I haven't seen any of Season 8 yet, and I missed the word 'fan' in your post.. and I thought that the writers were doing horrible horrible things!

Then I reread and breathed a sigh of relief ;)

Do you mean Cat People as in Malcolm MacDowell, or cat people as in "I have thirty-seven cats"?

Oh, so that's why Malcolm McDowell's face looks that way. That makes total sense.

As in, "we are people, but we are also anthropomorphic cats and we iz kewl"

The kind of thing that is so fucking prevalent and needs to die. Now.

*shudders with horror*

Yes.
Needs to die at spear-point.
