*shrugs* I find it practical. I don't want to read just anything so I guess I like the categorisations on top of the fics. If I feel like smut, I at least know what fics not to look at. The "character death" warning is a bit annoying though but then I used it myself to make sure I don't get anyone whining that they weren't warned.
