A mini-rant..
That I know Timey, at least, can understand.
I have this unfinished story. It's SG-1. And, not to spoil New Order, but something in NO is nearly *exactly* something I've in fact *written already* in this story.
This. Sucks.
Because now, (when it's finished) I will post it, and people will be like, "you copied that." And I can fume.
Rarr.
It's very pathetic, man.
And, yes. I will finish it. I kinda have to. Just to be all AU and such...
And I so need to write something where Jack calls Sam "Samantha 'Machiavelli' Carter"

I'll believe you, even if others don't. And those others? I'll chase them down and make them believe. *nods firmly and menacingly*
And yeah, I get what you're saying. That was one of the reasons I wanted to post 'settling' before NO. Well, it wasn't one of the reasons, but after seeing the dream sequence, I'm glad I did. Of course now it makes no sense, but I don't care.

And, hee! True. Of course, I like your version better. But then, farms in Montana never... did it for me.
And I really can't see Pete giving up his career for her anymore than I can see her giving up hers for him. (or Jack, for that matter).
