Ahem.

So, it was various things yesterday.

First off, Happy Birthday to Dreeeeeea and my ShailingChilde! *grope* and *smooch*

Secondly, it was Beta Appreciation Day (I'm always the last to know...), so, to Acey, Bev, Timey, Drea, Shai, Aj, Cherry, Mitai, and whoever else has suffered me to spam for them, thank you, from the bottom of my heart. *eyes Acey* Suzy says thanks, too.

More and more I become bored with the American work force as a whole. People who are complacent and bored don't like to *do* things. They don't work hard, they don't go out of their way to care... And I find myself drifting into the "It's only a temp job, I don't give a fuck" mindset. Not that I wasn't already there, anyway.

I do, however, have a few suggestions for people.

When sending in a bill, of any sort, make sure you write legibly on the check/money order. Make sure you include your account number. Make sure you SIGN THE CHECK. Make sure it's made out properly. Make sure it's the correct check--if, for example, you send your rent check to the electric company, they probably won't notice, and WILL cash it. As a payment on your electric bill.

If you want to explain why you can't afford the correct payments: Don't bother. Send in what you can. I am a peon. I do not give a fuck if you're on a fixed income (I've been there, but it doesn't MATTER. You're sending in money. Deal). If there's a problem, someone higher up will send you a form letter. Then you can call and get put on hold.

If you can't be arsed to put your account number (the proper one) on your check, I can't be arsed to care enough to search through 4,000 William Smiths to find you.

Telling us your new address is wonderful. Telling it to us and not giving us the old address while 'forgetting' your account number is like sticking your finger in a blender. Fucking stupid.

Er. Yeah. That became a rant there. Sorry.

In other news, my roots are camouflaging themselves. It's most amusing.
