I was halucinating Elvis....
Have I mentioned that my taste in music is odd?
Anyway. Been listening to Duran Duran's Pop Trash. It's very good for me.
Yesterday, was the most farcical sociological thing ever. We had a meeting at work (sadly, it wasn't witty), and people... acted like idiots.
I swear, it was like watching a sociological instructional video on the American Professional WorkPlace.
"See here, the alpha female struts her dislike of the alpha male by declaiming loudly against him. Listen as she reacts guiltily while turning the blame elsewhere... AH! She has played the Anti-Smoking card. Now, watch closely, ladies and gentlemen, as the smokers close ranks and remain silent..."
When she played the Race Card, I nearly lost it and laughed.
It was like watching a badly written play, really. Shakespeare, but pedantic and unkind.
Of course, it was made worse by getting back to my cubicle and proceeding to listen to Pop Trash....
"I liiive in a pop trash moooviiiiie..."
