I knew there was something....

Ok. So, there is one thing I'd like to rant about.

I work in the billing department of an insurance company, and you would think the American public considers english to be their fifth language. Or, possibly, not even something they know.

I cannot *count* the number of misspelled words, badly phrased sentences, or *just wrong* grammar I've had to decipher over the last week and a half. And these are people who have money! Who can afford to send off cash to an insurance company!

And then there's the writing itself. By no stretch of the imagination should ANY of these people ever try to win a penmanship competition.

Ever.

I have not, in fact, read a *single letter* that didn't have several problems with it.

Not the least of which is these people NEVER FUCKING INCLUDING THEIR ACCOUNT NUMBERS.

Or the ones who send in... a check. Or, better yet, a money order.

Like we're supposed to know them by their undecipherable name...

Americans are stupid. It's very sad.
