Y'know, I might dislike PK Tech Girl, because of Gilina, mainly. I just... She's the quintessential Mary Sue, in a way. However. I do like the episode for other reasons besides her.

For one, there's Aeryn's line where she tells John she found him... interesting.

Which is amusing, and the look on his face is priceless.

For another, there's the Zelbinion herself. She's just fucking gorgeous in all her CG glory. Pity there aren't more shots of her. I don't know why she draws me. Perhaps it's the destroyed majesty that's there. A decaying imperialism that clings to the surface of her slowly drifting hulk.

But I like her.

Durka and Rygel are also amusing.

Aside from that, there's a few of the really good type of Farscape scene. The silent ones, where more said with a look than a thousand words.

Hrm.

*distracted* I can't find a good shot of the fucking abbatoir from Event Horizon. Damn....

I was afraid I was the only one who hated Gilina. Annoying little mousegirl.

But other than that, it really is a good episode. I am continually amazed at the pretty CGIness that they come up with.

I don't think I utterly hate her. But... She's a Mary fricking Sue. Falls in, gets the guy, gets to angst. And, yeah, Aeryn could qualify, but she's been through hell and back.

Gilina also died heroically.
