Coherence, thy name is sloth!

So. Now that I've slept, I have further, more coherent thoughts on Farscape.

First. The very end.

It's the only thing, really. It was John and Aeryn's perfect moment. You don't GET many of those. Ever. But they had it. And they were at PEACE.

As much as I ranted and cried, the end was also very Farscape.

Life always frells the two of them, why should it stop just when they're the happiest?

To that end, there is a sense of closure. It's hard to say if that's because the writers suspected this was the end, or because they wanted viewers to be squirming until season five began. Unfortunately, we may never know.

I have no faith in SciFi putting money towards any sort of further Farscape projects. Henson productions might, but I don't think they can do it without SF.

Which is actually a thought. Who truly owns the rights? CAN they produce further episodes without SF? I know they weren't able to sell it to UPN, but there have to be other stations... WB, the networks. God, they could even go to... Comedy Central.

Hear my sarcasm.

So. I liked the episode. I hate the end emotionally. But I understand it. And I approve, in some ways. I just want to see more.

Because it was an incredible show that deserves more.
