But seriously...
Remember my shelf? I may have mentioned it, not sure. Anyway.
I'd spent something like an hour at sorting clothing and then hanging it in my 'closet'. It's one of those vinyl on aluminum (steel?) grid-type thingies.
So, I'd spent some time on sorting and felt most accomplished. Went to work.
Came home to find the shelf and clothing and BOXES ON TOP collapsed.
Said, "Fuck it." Left it like that for a few weeks.
Well. Got home from work tonight rather out of sorts, so decided to do something mindless and back-breaking. Have spent... 3 hours cleaning my room, so far. Dumped a bunch of clothes I can't wear (were given by a friend) into three easy to handle bags. Plan to take them to the nearest charity and dump 'em.
Filled TWO WHOLE BAGS. We're talking, y'know, of the 30-gallon trash bags, here. With trash. From my room. Now, I'll admit this is built-up trash. I have this tendency to fill plastic grocery bags up with trash, tie them off, then forget to get rid of them.
So. Took out trash. There's still a box of it, plus another bag half-full.
The corner where my shelf is is almost empty. All that's left is the shelf pieces, and the bad air conditioner that resides on my floor (for no fucking reason other than that *I* can't carry it downstairs. I'll drop it). Most of the hung-up clothes are piled on my bed under my pillows.
All of the winter stuff/things I was saving for nostalgia-value are in three trash bags in the computer room, here. I have room in my dresser drawers. Wheee.
There are three loads of dirty laundry, too. Not so wheee.
My main goal is actually to stay up until about 7ish, then crash. See, I work midnight-8am tomorrow night.... And if I go to bed now, I know I'll get up around noon.
My second main goal is to find my tax papers so I can find out if I can get any sort of scholarships/loans for school.
This would be good info to have.
My third goal is to quit work on the 5th of September.
More later. Must get some more cleaned so I can start searching through papers. Sigh.
