Do you know, I sometimes hate work...
I sit there, and watch tv. And do... puzzles.
Maybe I just find it boring.
At least it isn't retail.
Okay. I'm going to whine about the Name That Con website for a moment. Anyone bored can skip down.
This site isn't as bad as it could be. I'll admit that. But.... my GODS. What the FUCK were they thinking when they decided to call it 'Bungle in the Jungle'??? Was it, "Hey, we're not going to be around running it next year, let's fuck with them and make it a failure!" ???
Aside from that, the design is actually close to what I would have done. Except for the stupid Tiki graphic. The thing is almost 200k, it takes ten seconds to load on THIS computer, much less the one at home. I have a T1 line right now. At home it's 28.8. Yeah, gee, I can see they're catering to the people who are going to have lots of trouble with multiple graphics.
At least they got rid of the horrible background. The thing looked like someone had eaten cheese and corn, then puked.
No alt tags in their img src, either.
Fools.
I may have to go through and rip the site to shreds...
Oh, gods... and Mac was telling me how he was a professional web designer. "Yeah, and I have all sorts of things--even FrontPage!"
Colour me confused. Haven't MOST web designers (the ones with brains) termed FrontPage a piece of crap?

FrontPage
Unfortualy, anyone using Visual Interdev has to use Frontpage Server Extentions on the server.
(That being said, it doesn't mean you have to use FrontPage itself to make the page. Anyone who uses that is NOT a pro. They might get money for it, they might have an eye for design, but they are a hack. )
