It's so weird to me to watch it now after... a while. I was such a massive Sam/Jack shipper for so long (and a bit of me still is, even though I find Jack more annoying now?), and this time through I've been seeing all of the ways the team are shippy with each other in multiple combinations -
And I'm in season five, which is like, "Sam's One Night Stands" season. There's creepy Orlin, and pining Narim, and Smilin' Joe Faxon, and I can easily make a case for her sleeping with at least two of them. Narim was a long ago, mistaken fling, though. (although, I am desperately trying to see Faxon trying to use dirty talk and faaaaaaaaaaaaailing, so there'd be some second hand embarrassment in those moments).
Um, anyway, Teal'c is amazingly smug a lot of the time, and I'd forgotten how much I liked that. And Daniel grew on me a lot once his hair was shorter.
I feel like post-mission stress relief was a constant thing once they'd all died a few times.
"No strings." "Nope." "It's a natural product of the adrenaline." "Indeed."
They all still occasionally catch feelings, though.
