Never let jurisdiction get in the way of a good story
1. Sometimes, I'm reminded that I wrote a Touching Evil (UK, of course, with Robson Green and Nicola Walker) screenplay for one of my classes. It was, iirc, utterly awful, set in New York and quite possibly borrowed portions of the Pryde & Wisdom LS (I suppose one could be kind and say at least I'd stolen from the best. Sorry, homaged from the best). Luckily, no electronic copies exist to this day, though I think I keep coming across the printed material, as I had to turn it in for credit. (also, I am neither Paul Abbott nor Russell T Davies, so odds are, it truly was hideous.)
2. I have been at my current job for a year now. Which feels very odd. Sadly, I've still not been hired. And while I have pretty much zero ambition, I have the suspicion there are two counts against me. a. I don't have a four-year degree (I have almost enough credits for one, but they're all over the place so they don't count). b. I don't have an accounting degree (my co-workers are still confused about that, but whatever. Mass Communications is highly versatile, all right?). Luckily, my over-weening pride at knowing All The Things and Systems tells me they'd be fools not to eventually hire me on permanently.
3. My feet are cold, so I should probably go put socks and shoes on and wander out for the bus.
4. Still behind on Sleepy Hollow, sadly. (and Haven, of course. And Covert Affairs and probably every other tv show I watch ever.)
5. I really should find out when things like Beauty and the Beast are returningand watch the finale, whoops.
