AND IT WASN'T and I was all "MY HEART IS ON THE FLOOR, I NEED SOME TISSUES" because their whole mother-daughter thing just. I love it. (and yes, I'm down with that fan theory, too! Which just makes the Ponds this RIDICULOUS BALL of timey-wimey-trolliness, since they raise her, then Mels goes off to haunt them when they're young, and argh. It's amazing, though)
