I had to come around to the front of the house this morning, after taking mom to work. The good thing was, I had a car. The bad thing was, my key wasn't working in the gate lock.

Rust is possible.

The lock is now open, and gone. And I've gotten a new one at Wal-Mart to replace it with. Mmm. New keys and locks.

Flirted with the cashier in the dollar store. Tempting to go back and find out if they're hiring....

I'm picking the mushrooms off my supreme pizza. Bah. Evil, yucky things, mushrooms. I'm sure the Mushrooms Are Yummy Brigade (MARB) will tell me differently, but I know what I like, and it isn't them. Besides, now there's more in the world for MARB.

Called the temp agency that's hiring for the county next year. Have an interview on Thursday. Let's hope nothing freaky in my work history makes them decide not to hire me.

Mmm. IBC cream soda.

My poor husband's allergic to them. If he eats 'em, he'll be sick for two or three days, which is just no fun.

I used to dislike mushrooms, but recently I have come to like them. Usually on pizza.

I am also bemused by the idea people would remove pickle from McDonalds hamburgers, as I regard the pickle as containing 80% of the taste of the thing. :)

I'm allergic to a few types of mushrooms as well... tried some veggie burger once that I didn't know was primarily made of mushrooms, got sick for almost a week. Ugh!

I think you misunderstood him... McDonald's *pickles* have taste... 80% of the taste of the whole burger entity... the other 20% of the taste comes from the ketchup, mustard and onion. The bun just acts like an edible container for the condiments, and the "meat patty" is just the platform. :)
