One more Revenge thought


It's just occurred to me that Victoria has finally had enough of Conrad. She's going to destroy Grayson Global--whether out of petty revenge, or for David Clarke doesn't really matter.

She and Emily might just find themselves reluctant allies.

If the show can manage to stop saying "women who have emotions are bad at planning" at least.

(I'm a bit harumphy about this week's episode, but I do like that that it made Emanda 2.0 on closer to equal footing, and as step away from being a pawn moving to a player.)

I love Victoria's decision to go for the cash value of her shares while obviously planning to cooperate with the SEC investigation. What is Victoria's plan for Daniel? Is she plotting the downfall of Grayson Global while she works to separate Daniel from his rich fiancee to reassert her control over him? Or is she finally going to make sure Charlotte comes out on top?

I'm still thinking that Takeda is behind Tyler's murder and the implication of Daniel (it was his security at the party, right?). The show's entire premise is Emily's plan against the Graysons, so it's entirely possible that her sensei would force her back on track. It'll be interesting to see what is in the box when police find it as they search the crime scene. Another question: What do we know about Flight 197? What airline was it? Where was it flying to and from?

Did Takeda fund the Haitian school, or did Nolan?

Nagging question: Emily, Amanda, and Jack are supposed to be of an age (with Charlotte and Declan about nine years younger). So why the hell cast someone as Jack who is so very obviously much older than the rest? If there's supposed to be about a 3-year age gap, don't cast people with a 12-year age gap.

I AM IN EAGER ANTICIPATION. Seriously. I want Victoria to destroy him. I didn't like him before, now I like him even less. If that were possible.

I so hope Amanda (Levieva) is off to become a Revenge Guru now herself. Or at least learn some of the tricks of the trade (she almost had a chance to run away, sniffle)

I don't think it'll actually happen. They both have different goals--to Emily, Conrad is probably just collateral damage.

I've heard that mentioned. And while it's excellent soap opera plot, I hope it isn't true. I just feel that it would be focus on another dude, leaving the ladies even more in the cold. (and yes, he IS the focus a lot of the time, but a non-speaking, dead one. I'm ok with that)

Lots of thoughts. Hrm.

I think Victoria's plans for Daniel ultimately bend on what her plans for herself are--is she still just that gold-digger she accused Emily of being, or is there more to her now? Is Daniel's happiness truly important, or is the illusion of control over him that she needs? All parents loose their children to the adults they become, after all.

Or does she now see Charlotte as herself? Or as David's legacy (after all, I think part of her difficulty with Charlotte is how she's always seen Charlotte as the mirror reflecting her own treachery back at her). Now that it's all in the open, will Charlotte be the person she wants to win... I don't know.

I think it was Takeda's security, yes. I'm not sure if Takeda was actually trying to get her on track, I think it was a bit of a ham-handed attempt by Nolan (with T's help) to get Emily to 'move on'--Daniel was going to take her away from all of it, after all. I think killing Tyler was plan C, in order to try to keep things controlled (not that they were).

I don't remember if they've mentioned much about the flight--I know we've seen relatives of a few of the passengers, though. And there's a charity set up for it.

(I don't think the police will find the box, that's a detail someone would have seen to)

Nolan funded the school (plan A for getting Emily out: run away with Jack; plan B was running away to Paris), under Takeda's orders (did T contact him, or do they have another mutual acquaintance?)

I haven't really noticed, about Jack--not as much, at least. I think I did think "he seems older" about him, but didn't really pay much attention (also, where is Emily's (real!Amanda) mother?)

Then again, the dog should be dead, so. I don't know if realism is what they're going for.
