It's a beautiful life....

Okay. First, I have good news. I'm finally working on my resume. Yay.

Second, I had an odd dream this morning....

My dream.

A large group of us were in this forest. It was, iirc, on a different planet. But, at some point was a small log cabin, and inside it lived an old man and a young man who was the Prince of another world. So we dragged him along on our journeys.

Ending up on Earth, in similar forests. And New York on New Year's Day.

We were trying to convince him that there was no reason he had to destroy the Earth.

There was also a long, tall spiral staircase. It went between New York and the Forest (the Forest was at the top). To get down it, you had to go down a LOT of stairs. Unless you were wearing rollerblades. Then you could just ride the side section, which was the right size--and flat--to blade in. Of course, when you reached the bottom, you were going too fast, so someone would have to be down there to sort of catch you.

People who were in the dream: Katye, Jenna (my sisters), Nique, Threnny, Ems, Indigo, Tangles, Finny, Rappy, Daroos, Sparky, Lynx... Several more were there, but I can't name them at the moment. My memories are fading.. Alec, Nute and Smoot were there, sort of in the back, not exactly poking fun at our efforts, but very bored with them. I think my sister Katye's current boytoy Nate was there. Not sure.

Katye, Nique, Ems, Dar, Lynx and Sparky were on rollerblades. Indigo is the one who bullied a restaurant guy in NY to give us a table, even though we had no cash and there were over 20 of us. But then we all left anyway, since the Prince was deciding to destroy the world anyway.

For some reason, a bunch of us were sitting on a large table with wheels, being pushed about by others. I was one of the pushers. And the table was the reason we had some trouble in NY, since the streets sort of resembled Venice--flooded, with tiny walkways across them.

Some of us had magic powers. Not world-destroying stuff, but. Like, fires. We could make fire. Or turn plants into animals. And animals into other animals...

At one point, we turned a normal fox into a dog (mixed breed, sort of an Irish Setter/Golden Retriever mutt). And a section of the forest into a homestead, with a fence. To keep the dog in. Don't ask, it wasn't me that did it. Lynx and Ems thought it was funny to do so.

I don't know if the Prince was convinced, in the end. I woke up.

oh well.
